Oil Sludge (1MZ-FE)
The 1MZ-FE is catastrophically vulnerable to oil sludge if even one oil change is skipped. Toyota extended the warranty because of this. Always change oil on time. Check for sludge by pulling the valve cover — a clean engine is a good engine.
