The 6.0 Power Stroke is notorious for problems — EGR failures, head gaskets, FICM issues. Dale addressed every known weakness in the first 50,000 miles of ownership and has since hauled his excavating business across West Texas for 19 years without stopping.

Owner Stories

In their own words — how they got there, and what kept this vehicle running.

I spent $4,200 fixing what Ford got wrong when I bought it. That was 390,000 miles ago. Best $4,200 I ever spent.

TIP

Don't fear the 6.0. Fear people who didn't fix the 6.0. Do the EGR, do the head studs, maintain the oil cooler, and this engine will go forever.
